Aston Martin DB4 Coupé

At the 1958 London Motor Show, Aston Martin owner David Brown unveiled the DB4 sports coupé with a 2+2 seating layout. Around a thousand examples were built at Newport Pagnell in Britain before production ended in 1963. Italian craftsmen also contributed to this thoroughly British car: its bodywork was designed by Touring.

The Aston Martin DB4’s popularity was attributed less to racing than to appearances in James Bond cinema. The original text refers to a film from 1960. Depending on the version, its 3,670 cc engine produced at least 260 hp at 5,500 rpm.
