The car’s story
In 2003, Dodge launched an updated version of its Viper supercar. Engineers from DaimlerChrysler’s SRT division developed the car. Its styling became more angular, while the chassis was made lighter and stiffer.
The Viper SRT-10’s engine displacement increased to 8.3 litres, with peak power rising to 500 hp and maximum torque to 712 Nm. It was an aluminium petrol V10. The Dodge Viper accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in no more than four seconds and reached a top speed of 315 km/h. This version remained in production until 2006.
