The car’s story
The 2003 Dodge Viper was the third generation of the ‘Viper’ and inherited the title of an American dream car. The convertible was unveiled before the closed coupé. Production took place at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit.
The two-seater is demanding to drive, with its front engine and rear-wheel drive. Yet it fulfils its purpose: carrying one or two people at maximum speed with optimal handling. A 2 mm aluminium underbody plate improves road grip and high-speed stability. Aluminium suspension components and light coil springs give the driver full control over the Viper’s behaviour.
