Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Scaglietti

The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Scaglietti scale model faithfully reproduces the real 1956 car, which remained in production until 1959. Pininfarina was entrusted with the design, while Carrozzeria Scaglietti carried out the main work. Just 84 cars were built, celebrating the ten-day Tour de France automobile event, where the car won on its racing debut. The words ‘Tour de France’ also appear on the plastic display base of this 1:43 model.

The 250 GT Berlinetta Tour de France had an engine producing 240 hp at 7,000 rpm, later increased to 260 hp. It was a 2,953 cc V12. Beneath the Ferrari’s aluminium body was a tubular steel frame. Weighing 1,050 kg, the car could reach 260 km/h.
