Ferrari 330 P4

Many call the Ferrari 330 P4 a motorsport legend. Its greatest success was defeating the Ford GT40 at Daytona in 1967. It was designed and built in record time during the winter of 1966–1967. Four cars were produced: three coupés and one spider modified into a 330 P3.

The racer used a four-litre V12 with three valves per cylinder—two inlet and one exhaust—and improved indirect fuel injection. It produced 450 hp at 8,200 rpm. At 800 kg, the 330 P4 reached 320 km/h. Features included a tubular steel frame, aluminium panels, a fibreglass centre section, rear-wheel drive and a five-speed gearbox.
