The car’s story

The Ferrari 348 TS is a two-seat sports car with a Targa roof and Pininfarina styling. Replacing the 328, it was produced from 1989 to 1994, with around 4,230 open cars and another 2,895 coupés built.

Its 3,405 cc V8 produced 300 hp at 7,200 rpm and enabled 275 km/h. Peak torque was 323 Nm at 4,200 rpm; acceleration to 100 km/h took 5.6 seconds. Considering its 1,400 kg kerb weight, the claimed 8.4 litres per 100 km on the highway and 19.6 in town could be considered economical.
