The car’s story
The Ferrari 456M GT developed the production 456 GT coupé with its 2+2 seating layout. Introduced in 1998, it differed from its predecessor in its bonnet, doors and lower fixed rear spoiler. M stands for Modificato, 456 indicates the displacement of each cylinder and GT identifies it as a grand tourer.
Under the bonnet, the Ferrari 456M GT had a 5,473.9 cc V12 producing 442 hp at 6,250 rpm. Top speed reached 300 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h took just 5.5 seconds. Despite its aluminium body, the coupé weighed 1,690 kg.
