The car’s story
The Ferrari 550 Maranello is a luxurious two-seat sports car with a V12 engine. Unveiled at the Nürburgring in 1996, it was an evolution of the four-seat 456 GT. Pininfarina was responsible for the design. The 550 Maranello was a striking car, and its compact body placed it among the Italian marque's most successful designs.
Under the bonnet, the Ferrari 550 Maranello had a 5,474 cc engine. Producing 485 hp at 7,000 rpm, it enabled a top speed of 320 km/h. Acceleration to 100 km/h took just 4.4 seconds. The engine was paired with a six-speed gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
