The car’s story

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006. It was named after the racing circuit near the company’s factory, while the 599 designation reflected its engine displacement of 5,999 cc. The letters GTB stood for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. This placed the car among the company’s classic models, continuing the line of legendary Ferraris such as the 275, 365 GTB/4 and 308.

This Ferrari is easily recognised by its aggressive appearance, reminiscent of the Pininfarina Berlinetta of the 1960s. Pininfarina was also entrusted with the 599 GTB Fiorano’s design. Under the bonnet was a six-litre V12 producing 620 hp at 7,600 rpm. It propelled the rear-wheel-drive coupé beyond 330 km/h and to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
