The car’s story
The Ferrari F430 Spider convertible was unveiled at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. This striking car was based on the F430 coupé introduced a year earlier. Stylish, beautiful and harmonious, it brought together the Italian marque’s advanced technologies. It featured a fully automatic folding roof that took just 20 seconds to open or close.
The rear-wheel-drive F430 Spider used the same engine as the coupé: a 4,308 cc V8. It produced 490 hp at 8,500 rpm and gave the car a top speed of 315 km/h. Acceleration to 100 km/h took just 4.1 seconds.
