Ford Mustang Shelby 350 GT 1965 Chrome

This 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby 350 GT model entered my collection entirely by chance. Its unusual colour and fairly good assembly quality, however, made it one of my noteworthy models.

It belongs to the Altaya Chrom Collection, featuring legendary cars from the preceding hundred years.

I could not find a full-size Mustang 350 GT in this finish, although chrome-effect car painting is practised around the world. The author describes Arab owners as its principal admirers and says they commission the most chrome repaints. The original text also states that some countries prohibit such finishes for road-safety reasons.
