The car’s story
The GAZ-24-10 Volga debuted at Avtoprom-84, but the first production cars appeared in 1985. Essentially, it combined new components shared with the higher-ranking 3102 and the old GAZ-24, already in production for twelve years.
All body dies were retained, with changes made to decorative trim.
Visible exterior changes included the removal of front-door vent windows, black mirror housings, wipers finished in black plastic and other details.
