Infiniti FX

The Infiniti FX is a full-size premium crossover with a distinctly sporting character. The first generation appeared in 2003. This scale model represents the second-generation 2010 model-year car, whose design debuted at Geneva in 2008. It combined more aggressive styling with a good balance of price, quality and comfort.

Built at Nissan’s Tochigi plant in Japan, it used Nissan’s Front Midsize platform. No low-range gearing and short suspension travel limited off-road use, but all-wheel drive provided stability and comfort on good roads.

European versions gained three-litre diesels in 2010, while powerful petrol engines remained available. The five-litre V8 produces 390 hp at 6,500 rpm and 500 Nm at 4,400 rpm, giving 250 km/h and 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
