Moskvich-408 Elite

The Elite version of the Moskvich-408 really did exist in the overseas dealer network. Its features included grilles on the rear pillars, an Elite badge on the boot lid, a revised instrument panel and red rear reflectors.

It had four round headlights, two on each side, and a padded dashboard.

In Finland the export Moskvich-408 was sold as the Moskvitsh Elite, in France as the Moskvitch Elite 1360, in Scandinavia as the Moskvitch Karat and in Belgium as the Scaldia 408. A more generously equipped Elite Deluxe version also existed.
