The car’s story
The all-wheel-drive Nissan GT-R is regarded as the best-value sports car. Its 2+2 coupé body accommodates four people. This technologically advanced car has a front-mounted engine and rear-mounted gearbox. It uses two propshafts: one runs from engine to gearbox, while the other returns up to 50% of torque to the front axle when needed.
The GT-R is hand-assembled in specialised workshops at Nissan’s Tochigi plant. Official European sales began in 2008, a year after the production car was shown in Japan.
