The car’s story
The Renault Suprastella Coach convertible replaced the Nervastella range. It inherited its predecessor's chassis and engine. The main changes concerned the body design, which became more streamlined. The eight-cylinder engine displaced 5.5 litres (5,448 cc) and produced 110 horsepower.
The convertible carried the factory project designation ABM8, while the Suprastella saloon was designated BDP1. These cars occupied the flagship positions in Renault's range.
