UAZ 3741 khaki

This scale model of the UAZ 3741 faithfully reproduces the full-size van built by the Ulyanovsk automobile plant, which entered production in 1990. The first production ‘Bukhanka’ and the founder of the family was the UAZ-452, introduced in 1965. From 1985 to 1989, the UAZ-3741-01 variant used an 80 hp UMZ-414 engine; after 1990, the UAZ 3741 was fitted with a 90 hp UMZ-417.

Compared with their predecessors, the late-1980s models featured a dual-circuit braking system with vacuum assistance, four-wheel drive and improved axles with revised ratios. The drawbacks still included spartan accommodation for the driver and passengers. One characteristic of the vehicle is that it can be driven with a category C licence.
