The car’s story
The Zaporozhets-968 scale model made by the Tantal factory carries the number A16. It has a plastic base and an opening front bonnet, beneath which is a luggage compartment containing a spare wheel.
The real ZAZ-968 entered production in 1971, replacing the ZAZ-966. Its body became more modern, with improvements to the front panel, lighting and brakes. The 968 remained in production until 1978. Alongside the domestic-market ZAZ-968, an improved ZAZ-968A was also made.
