The car’s story
The ZIS-110 became the first limousine in the USSR's post-war history. It was an imposing and powerful, restrained and dependable luxury car. The Stalin Automobile Plant (ZIS) received the assignment to develop it as early as 1942.
The first ZIS-110 left the assembly line in 1945, and production continued until 1958. A total of 2,089 cars were built, including 32 armoured examples.
The ZIS had a six-litre, eight-cylinder, four-valve engine producing 110 hp. Its top speed was 140 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h took 28 seconds.
