Discover scale models made by Norev: cars, scales and detailed specifications from the collection.

Norev Toys was founded by the Véron brothers in 1946; its name is their surname spelt backwards. They made their first plastic models in a metal garage.

The first 1:43 model car appeared in 1953, and by the late 1950s Norev was winning top places at toy exhibitions.

Marc Fischer took over management in 1986. He modernised production technology, enabling Norev to keep pace with contemporary standards.

The Babyjet range of model cars for children and the Minijet series were launched in 2003. A new headquarters opened in Vaulx-en-Velin, France, the following year.

Marc Fischer died in 2005. The company began making 1:43 models of Japanese cars, opened a German branch and put 1:18 models and the GTI Tuners range, developed with GTI Mag, into series production.
