The car’s story
Bugatti’s revival began in 1991 with the EB 110, built in Italy. Marcello Gandini worked on the design, while Lamborghini engineer Paolo Stanzani developed the engine and transmission. GT and SS versions had minor styling differences and different power outputs.
The all-wheel-drive supercar used a 3.5-litre V12 with 560 hp at 8,000 rpm and 611 Nm at 3,750 rpm. Top speed was around 336 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h took 3.6 seconds.
The EB 110 celebrated the 110th anniversary of founder Ettore Bugatti’s birth. Only 95 cars were built before production ended in 1995, priced above €300,000.
