The car’s story
The Ferrari 575M Maranello entered production in 2002, essentially updating the 550 Maranello with styling revisions by Pininfarina. This two-seat, two-door grand tourer featured a more powerful engine, a new and improved interior, better weight distribution and aerodynamics, and adaptive suspension.
Two six-speed transmissions were available: a manual and a semi-automatic, an electrohydraulically operated manual like those in Formula 1 cars. Production of the 575M Maranello ended in the first half of 2006, when production of the 599 GTB began.
