Ford Mustang Convertible Goldfinger James Bond 007 Collection

The Ford Mustang Convertible in Goldfinger was one of the cars Ford supplied for filming. Goldfinger is the third Bond film, starring Sean Connery. It is dedicated to Ian Fleming, who died a few months before the 1964 premiere.

This was the Mustang's film debut. Tilly Masterson, played by Tania Mallet, drives the convertible. Seeking revenge for her sister Jill's death, she enters a factory where Goldfinger's loyal servant kills her. Interestingly, Connery often removed his trousers during car scenes, keeping only the upper part of his suit. The enclosed studios became so hot that sweat appeared on the secret agent's face despite the make-up artists' efforts.
