The car’s story
The Ford Mustang Mach III was a prototype unveiled at the 1993 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It previewed the appearance of the fourth-generation Mustangs introduced in 1995.
The Mach III had a turbocharged 4.6-litre V8 producing 450 hp. It was not merely beautiful, but superb and highly original. Its roadster body had flowing contours, while the rear lights gave it the look of a spacecraft.
